A Formula 1 Weekend

Feeling bored on a F1 Friday evening, I decided to practice my fondant. This was what happened.
The following day, after baking some cake and bread (which will be posted up later), I got bored of the F1 layout, and decided to destroy the buildings. (Heehee...) I turned it into a piece of greens and made some rolled roses on it. My daughter helped me with the roses too!
After I took some pictures, guess what happened? I destroyed the whole thing! Sadist? Not at all! This was made on a dummy cake (styrofoam). It was only a practice session (on Friday)... The actual competition is on Sunday evening. I meant...the Singapore Grand Prix.

hey Jane,

it sounds like fun playing with fondant. good idea doing it on a styrofoam. that way, there is no worry about wasting the cake... yup like the others have mentioend, it is similar to playing with plasticine, but this is a professional plasticine, lol.

LOL! Thank goodness you didn't destroy the real thing!

Nice to practice on something we enjoy doing. The green racers look adorable to me!

Shirley,Jess and Bakertan,
You know, I think I was deprived. I didn't get to play with plasticine or play dough when I was younger. That was why you can see my moulding wasn't very fine. :p Heehee... Like what Bakertan mentioned, this is professional's play dough. ;)

Hi Reese,
Oh, I'm not alone. Thought I'm crazy to be moulding for nothing. Kekeke... Yes, it's actually quite fun doing the moulding and figurines.

Hi Pei Lin,
Ah, don't worry, didn't destroy the real one! Ya, thought I'd better practice and use up my fondant since it's been there for quite a while already. :p

Hi Grace,
Yes, I like to involve my kids when they are available. I want to tap on their creativity! Heehee...

Hi Edith,
Can tell I'm really that "bo liao" right? Hahaha... However, fun to teach my girl as she is more patient.
