Showing Off - Ghirardelli

Okay, call me a show off! But I'm just so excited when my sister returned from San Fran and helped me to buy all those Ghirardelli Baking Chocolates! Ok lah, I'm not advertising for them. But I found their bakings chocs to be of reasonable price. So I gave my "shopping list" to her to get for me if she could find it! Wasn't I lucky! Heehee... These are my loots from the USA thanks to my youngest sister! :))

Since she had helped me to buy so many packets of chocolates, she requested I baked chocolate cakes for her. I promised her I'll bake her the Flourless Chocolate Torte using the 72% Cacao Extra Bittersweet Chocolate packet! This will be so so yummy but sinful!

Oh wow, how lucky you are! When i was in the US earlier this year, i lugged a couple of bags of the Ghirardelli chocolate chips. I've been really reluctant to use them though i did open a bag to make hot fudge and it was sooo good!

Their 72% Cacoa chocolate bar is one of the best chocolate i've ever had. I was swooning all over it after i had a taste of it and when i had finally regained my senses, proceeded to beg my best friend to bring some back for me when she gets back this Christmas :D

Hi Laureen,
Aiyo! You made me regret not asking my sister to buy MORE! *haiz* Btw, she forgot my 100% dark cacao! :p Hey, think i'll be like you leh, too precious and reluctant to use them. Then ended up, they will melt... Heehee.

I see you are also crazy about this brand. when I was in USA a decade ago, my aunt brought us to the Ghirardelli Chocolate boutique! So I came to know about it since then. Although not a choc fan, I only use this brand for baking. In Singapore, you can only find it in Cold Storage and Jason's Marketplace. Occasionally you may find it at NTUC(Junction 8). I got the White Mocha Cocoa, Dark Sweet chocolate, white chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate chips..all from Jason's.

Hi Gina & Yuri,
Thanks for telling me. How are the prices from Cold Storage or Jasons? I will go and check them out if I go there. Actually, they are not very cheap. :P I first learnt about this brand was actually for its eating chocolates. Then I saw HHB's blog and realised they have baking chocs too! I like their chocs! ;)
