Bread Cups

I made this to pamper myself on Mother's Day. It's simple, and full of goodness. Try this for your breakfast, I'm sure your family members will be pleased.
bread_cup2 Recipe for Bread Cups
Makes 12 cups

Ingredients:
12 Slices of bread
Some Butter/Margarine spread
4 Smoked Cheese sausages
5 Whole eggs
3 tbsp Whole milk
Salt
Pepper
bread_cup1 Method:

  1. Spread butter on the individual slices of bread.
  2. Cut the sausages into thin slices.
  3. Beat the eggs with milk, salt and pepper.
  4. Press the bread down into a large non-stick muffin tray individually.
  5. Scoop about three tablespoons of eggs into each bread cups.
  6. Add in the sausages evenly.
  7. Bake in a preheated fan oven of 160C (or 180C for normal convection oven) for 18mins.
  8. Served hot with side salad, and enjoy!

Not exactly healthy. White carbs high fat with sausages and whole eggs. Not for the person who is watching fat and cholesterol. Looks good though

Mary,
That's true. The white bread can be replaced with wholemeal bread. Sausages can also be replaced with greens maybe. Then it'll be more wholesome!
