New Love vs Old Flame

I'm not one who is heartless, in fact, I have too much sentimental value that my house is almost like a storeroom. I can't help but to look for a new love. The current one just lets me down. Whenever I needed it, it just can't work. It drained out too much energy too fast.

Determined and decided, I have decided to look for a new love. Therefore, the final decision was Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD. Actually, I still love my old flame - Canon Powershot A570IS, very much. It's light and easy to use. Unfortunately, I think I must've bought a "lemon" piece, it drained my batteries so much so that I had to replace batteries weekly even though I only used it for a couple of shots. Isn't that disappointing?

This is the basic & main comparision.

Hi! Thou the batteries icon shown is empty, it's not really. I read that that is a problem with the connector for the batteries for this model. You could just ignore and continue shooting until it refuse to turn on. It will also depends on which kinda of rechargeable batteries you're using as some of them do discharge on their own. Sanyo Eneloop Batteries is good, they do not discharge on it's own.

Hi Elyn,
Thanks. I know, problem is, whenever I want to shoot, it just shut down by itself. I can switch it on and off so many times until it refused to on anymore. I've had it serviced once before, and they found nothing. I also thought if it's the design fault, I should be able to get it serviced and replaced even after the warranty expired. I'll just have to find time to go down to the service centre. Meanwhile, I don't want to have this problem while I want to take pictures. :p Thanks for your info.

Hi,
Your new camera looks so 'professional'! I'm still using those 'idiot-proof' camera, though i did contemplate to get this type of 'professional' one, but they are too sophiscated for me to use...:p
Enjoy your new love!

Hi quizzine,
No lah, this is also idiot proof! It looks pro because of it's zoom only. Otherwise, the rest of the function is exactly almost the same as my Canon. It's a matter of getting used to the new features.

Hi HHB,
Ya, it does look good, but not as pro as the rest thinks! Wow! Powershot G3? Must be quite an older version of mine. I love using Powershot, don't you?
